Consulting, design, sampling and manufacturing one-of-a-kind solid and engineered wood flooring to meet specific job requirements for architects, designers, builders and consumers is the only job of
our Custom Technical Specialists.
The Custom Group starts with direct consulting. Whether it's a homeowner's precise concept or just a feeling, or whether it's an architect's or designers' final specification, our first step is personal contact with a custom technical specialist. We may offer options: our technical specialists have access to the world's grades of exotic and domestic woods, and to the full range of colors and domestic and European environmentally-sound commercial and residential finishes.
Then we sample. We custom-make samples of the species, grade, width, the structure (solid or engineered), and of course, the finish and color.
Once all specifications are approved, we produce the final flooring. Whether it's 200 year-old reclaimed wood re-milled to exacting contemporary standards, a domestic wood with a finish designed for commercial high traffic applications or a gentle, residential finish on an exotic wood, the Custom Group is staffed exclusively with highly informed experts whose only job is to work directly with their clients.
